My First Word Acrostic Poems on Health

The word acrostic can be any subject you chose as long as it has a message of 5-8 words in the message.

Example:
Tongue Twister-Word Acrostics

RUBBER a useful substance for making
BABY dolls as well as
BUGGY wheels and
BUMPERS good as pads for the crib

SHE went to the beach where she
SELLS her product, but it could not have
SEASHELLS embedded in it
BY a tidal wave
THE only way to avoid the shells was to move from the
SEASHORE, she did and her sales improved.

The first word of each line down forms the word acrostic.

Here is my first attempt:-

Poem # 1
A healthy outside starts from the inside.
Robert Urich

A patient laying inside the hospital
Healthy is a stage that she wants to have
Outside the windows, up in the sky a rainbow
Starts from the east spread across to the west
From the north to the south the wind blows
The Lord God's promises are sure and true
Inside the hospital, she claims the promises of God

Poem # 2
The first wealth is health.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

The sun rises
First thing in the morning
Wealth is more than number
Is more precious than gold and silver
Health is a prized possession

Poem # 3
The greatest wealth is health.
Unknown

The long days of staying in hospital
Greatest joy is to come home
Wealth of men cannot buy
Is the peace and comfort of loved ones
Health is precious beyond words

I wrote these poems, thinking of my mum - Lily Ho, my father in law - Justine Heng and Grandma Tsen. Until we lose health, we often forget that health is a prized possession, it is the first wealth, it is the greatest wealth. Three of them have been hospitalised for a long period in these past two months.
