It is time for that event again
Once every five years
To elect the People's representatives
To represent us
To defend our rights
To promote us
To protect us from harms
In order to be elected
They must choose a symbol
To represent who they are
What they believe in
So that when the people see the symbol
They think them and will vote for them
So my girl asked me
Why are there so many flags with symbols
Are they all not the same
What is election
I replied her
Its time to choose a leader to lead us
These symbols tell the story of who they are
What they are passion about
What they promise to deliver
She then asked again
So, what is the decision
I told her each one will choose who they think
Can best deliver the promises the fastest way
A blog for my random ramblings inspired by day to day living on a beautiful tropical rainforest island called North Borneo State of Sabah, Malaysia. From family, parenting, adventures, travels to recipes and upcylced crafts, an assortment of ideas, just some highlights of what we learn from our living.

My Beautiful Homeland
Mountain Kinabalu is the backdrop of our city
The city that I call Home
Gaya Islands is the seaview of our city
The city that I call Home
Mountains, Islands
Sky and Sea
So blue
So beautiful
May my Homeland be forever more

The Prodigal's Mum
And inwardly laughing gayly
To see my Pride and Joy
Growing up so tall
Tears flow in drops
While heart is weeping deeply
To know the sweetest cutest being
Has lost his way
Face with a frown
While soul is bleeding softly
To hear what others have to say
About my precious darling
When has time gone ?
When has my baby grown up ?
Where is his heart and soul ?
Its so lost and need to be found
The soul of a mum
Made of laughters, teardrops and blood
To God she will turn
Her fears, sorrow and dreams
As she awaits God to bring her prodigal returns
